Washington, D.C. The following statement may be attributed to Nuclear Innovation Alliance (NIA) Executive Director Judi Greenwald:

“I’m delighted to welcome Dr. Jessica Lovering to the Nuclear Innovation Alliance as a senior fellow. Jessica is a nuclear energy policy rock star and an experienced, trusted voice on new nuclear energy commercialization. I’m confident she will help NIA to advance our mission of creating the conditions for success for this technology to play a major role as an energy security and climate solution.

“Jessica holds a doctorate from Carnegie Mellon University in Engineering and Public Policy, where her dissertation focused on how commercial nuclear trade affects international security standards and how very small nuclear reactors could be deployed at the community level. Jessica also has an M.S. in Environmental Studies and Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a B.A. in Astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently a non-resident fellow with the Energy for Growth Hub in Washington, D.C and a Senior Visiting Fellow with the Fastest Path to Zero Initiative at the University of Michigan.”

“At this critical juncture for new nuclear energy in America, Jessica’s experience and insight will help NIA fulfill its mission.”
